Through the unwavering support of donors and the dedication of local partners, children now have access to quality education, feel safer in their communities, and are empowered to speak up and lead. While challenges remain, the progress in Keembe is a powerful reminder that lasting change is possible when we listen to children, invest in their potential, and walk alongside communities every step of the way.
Children’s learning and protection in Keembe thrive through strong local partnerships among families, teachers, community leaders and volunteers. Their collaboration has created safe, inclusive spaces for children to learn.
Sustaining these achievements requires ongoing investment in teacher training by school managers, inclusive education and child protection awareness. Structures have been created to achieve continued community ownership and engagement including savings groups and active village committees for livelihoods, water sources and continued development through social accountability.
